We need your help to upgrade, grow and thrive!

Dear Seahaven FM Supporter,

In January 2024 Seahaven FM marked a significant milestone. We started our 14th year of unwavering dedication to fostering community connections in East Sussex.  We have been providing a platform for local voices, diverse music, essential information, and support for many local causes and charities.

We take immense pride in how far we've come since the original idea of 18 years ago.  2024 is another year of the full-time broadcasting of shared moments that have strengthened the fabric of our community.
As we reflect on our successes, we recognise the need for growth and enhancement to ensure we continue serving you with the quality and commitment you've come to expect.

We’ve great plans for 2024. Work has already begun, and this newsletter is one of a range of new things we’ve got planned. Another is extending our accommodation into the unit next door to our studios. This gives us to have more room to get more people involved, more training space and better facilities for our guests.

I look forward to giving you news about the launch of “Project '24” in the next newsletter, along with how you can get involved either as a listener, contributor or/and volunteer.

As a not-for-profit organisation, Seahaven FM is totally reliant on the volunteers who are both our presenters and behind the scenes folk. They give their time freely to produce the great radio you can hear every day.

I hope you find this informative. Please encourage your friends to sign up for these newsletters.

Kind regards
Nick Mallinson
Founder and Managing Director
Seahaven FM.

In our Next Newsletter
In April we will be launching “Project ‘24” as we set out our plans to fund key technical changes, including refurbishing our current studios and ensuring a strong and reliable FM signal for our listeners across the Ouse Valley.
This issue will focus on some of our programmes and their presenters. We’ll also celebrate the work of key volunteers.

Please would you help us by:
•    Sharing this and by subscribing;
•    Following Seahaven FM on social media;
•    Encouraging our volunteer team by letting us know what you like about Seahaven FM, join the 300 people who regularly enter our quizzes, let us know what’s going on in the Seahaven FM area right now (for example traffic incidents);
•    Supporting us by donating. We are a not-for-profit organisation which operates for community benefit in East Sussex.
